Miles' class had a special Mother's Day party at school. I have to say it was the best day!
Miles made a beautiful blue hat with blue shiny beads and was so sweet.
He took care of me the whole time I was there.
He put his hand on my back and kept it there the whole time.
I hope he will always take care of me like that!
It was a day I will remember forever!

Summer isn't summer unless you have been to Mr. Jimmy's pool. We have had so much fun there over the past few years. We have spent quite some time there this summer and Miles can say that is where he learned to swim. I left him there with Miriam, Russ, and his friend Daniel and I come back to pick him up and he is a little fish! Of course I had to snap a few shots of my little swimmer!

What A Season!

Miles loved playing instructional league baseball this year! He learned so much from his great coach and his teammates. He started the season hitting off the tee every time and by the end of the season he was hitting the pitches. He learned to "spit", "slide", and hit the bat across home plate before he got ready for his pitch. It is amazing how they watch and learn. He made so many new friends and became a big boy in a matter of a month. I love watching him grow into this little person who no longer needs me for everything. We are so proud of him. Way to go Miles!

Sweet Lan had a Super Hero Birthday Party this year. He was the most excited birthday boy I have seen in a long time. He gave all of his friends super hero capes and everyone had a great time! We just can't believe Lan is such a big boy!

Our little star!

Miles and Barnes celebrated spring with classmates this week. Our little Lan was the cute spider and represented October beautifully!

I was so proud of the boys for singing loudly and not doing anything to get noticed while on stage!

Miles has grown so much and is writing all of the time and reads environmental print everywhere he goes. Miss Denise has taught him that it is okay to take risks and try new things. He enjoys baseball and playing outside. There is no place he would rather be. He is working on his listening but he is so compassionate. He spends lots of his time at Gam's entertaining baby Segars and he loves him so much. I am so proud of the 5 year old he has become!
Barnes loves school more than most kids. His teacher Miss Sue just brings out the best in a 2 year old. She lets them explore and dress up and every day is different. He also loves Miss Rebecca who loves him right back. He is so sweet and if I am having a bad day he is going to say something to cheer me up! I love both of my sweet boys.

All our friends ready to head into the aquarium, I can't believe we talked them into stopping for a picture.

Baby Wells loved the aquarium, it was awesome seeing him enjoy the fish for the first time!

The beach was awesome as usual. I love that my Miles and Barnes love the beach as much as Clay and I do. They dread the "ride home" and ask about our next beach trip all the way home.

I hope it will be soon boys!

The beach was fun but, we also headed to the zoo. The bear just illustrates how we all felt when the day was over!

Questions???

Miles has a vast vocabulary so I wasn't surprised when he started talking about animals that are nocturnal.
"Mommy", he said, "owls are nocturnal and bats are nocturnal. What are people?"
I teach third grade and I don't know the answer...I can't wait for the next question!
