Miles' First Summer

Miles and I were looking at some old pictures and Miles couldn't believe this was him. He said, "My hair was off in that picture!"
He has a head full of hair now!

Happy Father's Day!

Miles and Barnes were excited to cater to their Daddy on Father's Day today! They woke up early and helped make cinnamon rolls and bacon for him! They also made a card for him and Pop Pop and Poppy! Miles and Barnes are so lucky to have such a wonderful Daddy, Poppy & Pop and Allan and Dean! Happy Father's Day guys! We love you!

Mac and Bose

Thanks Mac and Bose for a fun playdate! Katie it was great to spend time with you! Your kids are terrific!

PLAYDATE!

Lan, Luke, Mac, Bose, Daniel, Miles, & Barnes got together for a playdate on Saturday. All of the Mommies tried to catch up on old times but we were too busy chasing little boys. Miles pretended like he was playing with Mac after everyone left home and Barnes took a long nap!

Saving a Centipede!

Miles and Barnes discovered a centipede in the sprinkler system a few weeks ago. They wanted to touch it and find more! I just wanted them to wash their hands! I guess this is what having little boys is all about! I really do love every minute of it!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Miles had his first T-Ball game today. He had a great time! He had the uniform, the hat, the bat, the ball, the glove, the fans, the all important teammates...He just didn't want to join them. But he said he had a good time and that's what counts. He did get in line to bat and even went up to the tee with his Daddy...Then he changed his mind at the last minute. We are proud of him just the same because he is our little Miles! Maybe next time!

The Aquarium

Usually when we go to the beach we just play on the beach! This time we decided to do some "touristy" things! We went to Margaritaville for lunch, rode the rides, and then went to the aquarium! The boys loved the fish and the Pirate Land! I think they had a really great time. They were so worn out they slept all the way home.

Swimming With Daddy

Miles and Barnes enjoyed swimming with Daddy in the pool at Ocean Isle! They also had a blast playing on the beach with Daniel and Lan! Miles' favorite thing was the boogie board. Last year he ran from the ocean so we were so glad to see him enjoy it! Barnes loved the pool because it was heated!

Tee Ball Practice!

Miles went to his first tee-ball practice Thursday! He woke up from his nap and went straight to practice so therefore he was not a happy camper. He sat in Clay's lap the entire time and didn't even hit the ball. Miles sometimes likes to sit back and just watch what is going on! When we got home he said, "I will hit the ball next time." He has a game tomorrow so we will see what happens!
