Miles and Barnes: August 2010

First Day of School 2010

Today was the first day of school for three of us!

Miles started 5K with his sweet teacher Miss Amanda. I am so excited about watching him grow as a reader and writer this year. He said he had a great day today before we even asked. It must have been super great for him to tell us before we asked.

Barnes has been ready for school and when he found out it was tomorrow (Sunday night at 6:30) He said, "I am ready to go to bed now!" He ran to Miss Cam's class this morning without his Daddy.

I am going to school with my boys this year and I was just as excited about my first day as they were. We all had a happy first day!

Go Foxes Go!

We love cheering for our Foxes. The kids love to go to the games to cheer for the Foxes, play football, and play with their friends! Last Friday night was no different! They had a blast and can't wait to do it again in a few weeks!

One happy little boy hoping he can get to sleep so the tooth fairy can find him!

A weekend at the beach with Nana and Poppy turned into an adventure. Miles lost his first tooth! He was a little worried that the tooth fairy wouldn't find him but, somehow she did. She even dropped fairy dust on the pillows. I must say I am proud of my big boy for pulling his own tooth and not shedding a tear! He is definitely growing up fast.
